As with their Pure Wet EP, “Gentle Man” finds the Nashville duo harnessing a late 80s/early 90s R&B/pop pastiche that sounds like it's been chanelled from some parallel universe where bands like Color Me Badd made it big on the Balearic House scene... but in a cool way. It’s humorous, groovy, earnest, and seductive, all wrapped up into five minutes of electro-groove.
