Torgo is coming to Lincoln

Manos: The Hands of Fate is arguably one of the worst movies of all time, and it has become legendary as a result of its skewering by Mystery Science Theatre 3000. So in a way, it represents nerdery’s nadir and zenith. And it’s coming to Lincoln, Nebraska courtesy of RiffTrax, a service created by MST3K’s Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett, that records humorous movie commentaries.

The RiffTrax crew also does occasional live movie commentaries that are streamed into movie theatres. Their next such event will be for Manos on Thursday, August 16 at 7:00pm Central (more details and ticket info). If you live in Lincoln, you can catch the action at The Grand.
