“Kids on the Slope” is quickly becoming one of my favorite things

I’m a little over half-way through Kids on the Slope, and so far, I’m really enjoying it as a coming-of-age story, a high school melodrama, and as a love-letter to jazz. This scene, which features the two main characters tearing through a lively medley of “My Favorite Things”, “Someday My Prince Will Come”, and “Moanin’“, is now high up on my list of favorite anime scenes.

Kids on the Slope is currently streaming on Hulu Plus. I hope to post a review once I’ve finished watching the entire series.
