The “Wreck-It Ralph” trailer brings the video game nostalgia

I suppose it’s only fitting for Disney to roll out the trailer to Wreck-It Ralph, their upcoming video game-themed feature, right now, while E3 is in full swing. The movie follows Wreck-It Ralph, a video game villain (voiced by John C. Reilly) who grows tired of being a villain and travels to the other games in the arcade in hopes of becoming known for something other than wrecking buildings. Older gamers will no doubt love the Toy Story-esque nods to such classic games as Pac-Man, Q*bert, Street Fighter 2, and Super Mario Bros., and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Wreck-It Ralph opens in theatres on November 2, 2012.
