Have a very Low Christmas
Low’s Christmas EP has long been one of my favorite holiday recordings, and Low has also been one of my favorite live bands. So needless to say, I’m thrilled to find this recording of their 2005 Christmas show.
The performance features such ought-to-be-holiday classics as “One Special Gift”, “Just Like Christmas”, and “If You Were Born Today”, Mimi Parker’s performance of “Blue Christmas” (which leaves me weak in the knees every time), and a slew of other great Low material including “Lazy” and “(That’s How You Sing) Amazing Grace”.
