more hero news

I happened to cruise by IGN DVD today and saw that they posted a review of “Hero” despite the fact that the movie has not been released domestically (yet).  Hopefully, IGN’s review (which is very positive) will drum up some interest and help compel Miramax to release a decent DVD version (even though they’ve botched the film’s theatrical release again and again).

As for the “Director’s Cut” of “Hero” (which includes the 20 minutes or so that director Zhang Yimou trimmed from the film at Miramax’ behest), it’s still supposed to come out later this summer.
