New Portishead-Related Project: BEAK>
If you were to take all of the skronkiest bits and bobs from Portishead’s Third (e.g., “We Carry On”, “Machine Gun”) and distill them into their purest form, you’d probably end up with something resembling BEAK>. And I’m not saying that merely because Portishead’s Geoff Barrow is one of the group’s founding members, along with Billy Fuller (Fuzz Against Junk, Massive Attack) and Matt Williams (Team Brick).
